A California Boy

Ryan searched the world for the most wonderful woman. He was willing to go to the ends of the earth to find her. At last he succeeded. When he left China with Linde he stole the most beautiful flower from the Emperor's garden. Passing through Customs, he wondered how he might declare the treasure he had found.

A Missouri Girl

Boys were the last thing Linde had gone to China to find. Interested in Mandarin and Chinese culture, she jumped at the opportunity to live and study on the mainland. With a camera, a computer and a love for travel, Linde covered thousands of miles solo. On breaks from studies at Qingdao U she ventured deep inland to Sichuan and Xinjiang. Back from one of these journeys, she showed up at the Redstar offices carrying her gear and wanting to tell stories.
